About Oregon’s Public Safety System

Action Alert

On November 3, 2025, The Truth Project filed Friend-of-the-Court documents in supporting the Jackson County District Attorney in a motion to find the Oregon Department of Corrections in contempt of court. The Truth Project filed a second document supporting a victim whose rights were violated by DOC when the released an inmate four (4) years before his court imposed release. He is just one of hundreds of violent and potentially dangerous offenders that DOC wants to release early - some years before their scheduled release.

Please reach out and tell the Oregon Department of Corrections to STOP unlawfully releasing dangerous and violent inmates.
